lgfashionlabs.com/01/04260000000073Carbon footprint is an indicative cradle-to-gate range based on WRAP UK 2023 industry-average benchmarks for natural silk. Scope includes: raw silk production (sericulture and reeling, Zhejiang), inter-tier transport (sea freight Zhejiang→Como, sea freight Shenzhen→London for zip trim, road Como→London), weaving and dyeing (Como), CMT manufacturing (London). Scope excludes: outbound brand-to-consumer logistics, consumer laundering and care, end-of-life processing. The range reflects variability in sericulture intensity and reeling energy across supplier tiers. Full ISO 14067-aligned product-level LCA available on request.

Professional dry cleaning only. Do not machine wash, hand wash, or soak.
Do not wash in water. Do not soak or wring.
Do not expose to machine heat. Air dry away from direct sunlight if needed.
Iron inside-out on the lowest setting only if required. Do not steam directly onto fabric surface. Gentle steaming at distance (≥ 20 cm) is acceptable for light de-wrinkling.
No bleaching agents of any kind. Chlorine bleach will permanently damage the silk fibre.
Store on a padded hanger in a cool, dry environment, away from direct light and heat sources. For long-term storage, wrap in acid-free tissue paper. Avoid sealed plastic bags, which trap humidity and can cause yellowing of natural silk.
The silk shell is a protein fibre (fibroin). Under controlled biodegradation testing (ISO 14855 / OECD 301-series) silk breaks down fully; in soil the shell fabric is estimated to biodegrade within 1–5 years and sheds no microplastics. Before composting, remove the YKK zip (polyester tape and metal slider) and the care label (typically woven polyester). Sewing thread on this garment is 100% natural silk — biodegradable, no removal required. Verify any other trims with brand customer service prior to composting.
